Job Advert in Haverhill, Suffolk seeks an experienced Welder Fabricator to start immediately. Salary starts at £18ph with overtime paid at time and a half. Standard hours are 07:30-16:00, Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday.

Key duties include MIG welding mild steel (2–10 mm), reading CAD drawings, and using fabrication machinery. A welding apprenticeship or relevant qualification is preferred; time served welders may apply.

Formación

• MIG welding of mild steel per drawings.
• Reading and working from CAD drawings.
• Familiar with various fabrication machinery and tooling.
• Time-served welding background or apprenticeship preferred; complete trainees not considered.

We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to start immediately for an engineering firm in Haverhill, Suffolk. With a starting salary of £18ph+ & overtime all paid at time & half, this is above the average rate of pay for like/like roles in the area. Standard working hours, 07:30-16:00. Monday-Thursday with an early finish on a Friday. Welder duties include:

• MIG welding mild steel between 2-mm-10mm thicknesses
• Reading & working from CAD drawings independently
• Familiar with various fabrication machinery
• Competent in the use of various hand & power tools

The successful applicant will have come from an engineering apprenticeship / relevant qualification, or have a time served welding background. Though we are open to a range of applicants, we are not able to consider complete trainees.
