Prime Appointments is seeking an experienced MIG Welder in Haverhill to join a specialist engineering team. The role focuses on MIG welding and fabrication of heavy-gauge materials, with reading of engineering drawings and fitting of products. A permanent position awaits after a successful probation period.

Salary is £16.00–£18.00 per hour, with scope for progression and salary increases following probation."

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' MIG welding experience.
• Previous heavy-gauge welding experience.
• Fabrication experience.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Welding apprenticeship or qualification would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated, reliable and hardworking.
• Good common sense and a willingness to learn and progress.

Responsabilités

• MIG welding heavy-gauge materials, including 10mm+.
• Reading and interpreting engineering/CAD drawings.
• Fabrication using various machinery, including drills, saws and grinders.
• Stripping down and fitting products.
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and specification.
