CNC Welder

Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: 17.00 per hour for the first 39 hours Overtime at 1.5x
Hours: 55 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent following 3-month trial period

CNC Welder Required - Ellesmere Port

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Welder to join an established, international company based in Ellesmere Port.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC operator/welder looking for a long-term career with a multi-million-pound turnover international company, with the potential to move onto a permanent contract following a successful 3-month trial period.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a CNC Kerf plasma cutting machine, producing components from drawings and carrying out welding duties when required.

You will need to be confident working independently and have a good understanding of CNC plasma cutting, basic drawing and welding processes.

Essential Requirements

You MUST be competent in:

• Operating a CNC Kerf plasma cutting machine on a 6m x 3m plasma bed
• Using the Lantek drawing software system
  • Refresher training/course available for the right candidate
• Completing basic drawings
• Reading and working from drawings
• Welding - essential
  • Welding will be required when CNC drawing and cutting work is not required
• Working safely and efficiently within a busy production environment

Hours & Pay

• 55 hours per week
• 17.00 per hour for the first 39 hours
• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours
• 3-month trial period
• Successful candidates will have the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract
