Job description

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced temporary Welder to work for our manufacturing client based in the Darlington area on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Welding component parts to specific drawing specifications within a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
2. Working to weekly production schedules and engineering standards.
3. Performing MIG welding, with additional work for those with TIG experience.
4. Welding to automotive quality standards (2-3mm).
5. Demonstrating experience within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Welding and fabrication qualifications are desirable but not essential if workplace experience is demonstrated.

Working Hours:

On a 2-shift system: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and 2:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime at weekends.

Additional Requirements:

A weld test will be required at the interview stage.
