Job description

Job Opening: Welder (Temporary)

We are currently seeking 3 Welders to join a renowned manufacturing company based in Darlington on a temporary basis.

Working Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week, split over 2 shifts:
• Monday-Friday 6am - 2pm
• Monday-Thursday 2pm - 11:30pm (Friday off)

Overtime may be available on Saturday and Sunday.

Welder Requirements:

• MIG or TIG welding experience
• Ability to weld to automotive quality standards (2-3mm)
• Automotive background is a benefit but not required
• Willingness to participate in a weld test

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit and weld component parts
• Work according to weekly production schedules, which may be demanding due to high volumes
• Be an active team player and collaborate within a larger team
• Flexibility to work with other functions if needed
• Make judgments and work independently within work instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working area
• Share knowledge with colleagues to promote best practices
