Babcock International is seeking a Welder to undertake MIG, TIG and Arc welding on heavy military vehicles and equipment at Catterick. You will perform fabrication, repair, grinding and finishing to exacting standards while maintaining thorough job records in a safety-conscious workshop environment.
The role requires interpreting drawings, working within a heavy engineering/defence context, and obtaining Security Check clearance. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
As a Welder, you'll play a crucial role in the refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of heavy military vehicles and equipment that support the UK's defence capability. The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
