Babcock International in Rosyth is looking for a Welder to support the Common Missile Compartment project. You will weld components for UK and US submarine programmes using SMAW, MIG and TIG processes on 12-hour shift patterns.
Working onsite at Rosyth Dockyard, you will follow procedures, inspect welds, operate equipment safely, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. A Level 3 Welder qualification or indentured apprenticeship is required, with SC clearance on offer.

As a Welder, you'll be at the heart of one of the most critical defence projects in the world. You'll work on the manufacturing of 22 tactical missile tube assemblies as part of the Common Missile Compartment (CMC) project for the UK Successor and US Ohio Class replacement submarine programmes. This is a full-time, permanent role based onsite at Rosyth Dockyard, Fife. You'll work 39 hours per week on a rotational shift pattern of days and nights (12-hour shifts).
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
