Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is recruiting a Welder Fabricator for our client in Braintree, Essex. The role is day shift, full-time and permanent, based in a workshop environment.

You will work from engineering drawings, perform MIG welding, fabricate components and support a team producing high‑quality, large-scale structures. The ideal candidate has proven Welder Fabricator experience, reads drawings confidently, and demonstrates a strong workmanship ethic.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator.
• Confident MIG welding skills.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Structural welding background.
• Experience fabricating structural and sheet metal components.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous workshop-based manufacturing experience.

Welder Fabricator – Braintree, Essex– Day Shift – Full Time – Up to £19p/h

We are currently recruiting for a structuralWelder Fabricatorto joinawell-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Braintree. This is a full time, permanent position offering long-term stability, competitive hourly rates, and the opportunity to work on varied, high-quality products. This role would suit an experienced Welder Fabricator who enjoys hands‑on fabrication work, working from drawings, and producing work to a high standard.

About the role:

Working within a skilled fabrication and welding team, you will be involved in the manufacturing of structural appliances,typically of large size. The role is workshop-based and will include a mixture of welding and fabrication duties, working primarily with mild steel and other metals, producing components for a range of industrial and commercial applications.
