Job summary

Whittaker Group Ltd is seeking experienced welders to join our Stonehaven workshop with opportunities for offshore and site work. You will work on a varied range of projects including pipework, structural fabrications, vessel repairs and heat exchanger construction.

The ideal candidate is skilled in various welding processes and able to read technical drawings, with experience in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Offshore certification is beneficial but not essential.

Job description

As a result of continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced, time-served Welders to join our team.

This full time role is based at our workshop in Stonehaven, with excellent opportunities also available for offshore and site work.

Our welders work on a varied range of projects, including pipework, structural fabrications, vessel repairs, and heat exchanger construction and refurbishment.

The ideal candidate would be skilled in various welding processes, and have experience working with both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately is essential.

Valid offshore certification would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Excellent working conditions, remuneration package and benefits are available.

Hourly rate depends on experience, based on a 39 hour working week. Regular overtime is available.

All applicants must be capable of commuting daily to our Stonehaven facility. The Company does not have a sponsorship licence.
