Job summary

Driver Hire Aberdeen is recruiting an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their Peterhead workshop. The role covers fabrication, welding and structural assembly, with primary MIG and FCAW welding, from fabrication drawings.

You should be time-served, able to read drawings, with carbon steel experience and a strong safety focus. Overtime paid at 1.5x and a salary of £32,000–£38,000 for a 38-hour week.

Qualifications

• Time-served Fabricator / Welder or equivalent.
• Experience in fabrication, welding and structural assembly.
• Able to read fabrication drawings.
• Carbon steel experience.
• Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
• Welding codings: Previous coding experience is sufficient, with candidates put through new codings after successful completion of probation.
• Forklift, MEWP or lifting qualifications advantageous.
