Job summary

Countrystyle Recycling Limited is seeking a reliable Weighbridge Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of the weighbridge, manage deliveries and enforce site rules.

You will record vehicle weights, capture waste types, process documentation, and liaise with drivers and customers by phone or email.

The role requires good IT skills, attention to detail and strong communication, with training provided to expand knowledge of waste tracking and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Intermediate MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a busy administrative role.
• Experience dealing with external customers.
• GCSE grade A-C level education.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic onto site and operate weighbridge.
• Check incoming loads for license and waste type compliance.
• Record weights and waste types by vehicle and collect driver signatures.
• Process delivery notes and tickets accurately and efficiently.
• Report health and safety issues to management immediately.
• Maintain relationships with customers and visitors by phone, email or in person.
• Ensure paperwork and EWC codes are in place for Digital Waste Tracking.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
