Waste King operates a busy recycling facility in Cheddington. We are seeking a Weighbridge Operator to join the Admin/Transport/Yard team, handling weighbridge duties, documentation and customer interactions on site.

The role requires strong organisation and computer skills, with on-site duties including invoicing support, vehicle coordination and compliance administration. Full training and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration or weighbridge operations is helpful but not essential.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Operate the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle movements and weights.
• Process waste transfer notes, licences and compliance documentation.
• Book and coordinate outbound collections.
• Monitor scheduled vehicles and follow up delays or cancellations.
• Welcoming customers, drivers and suppliers to the site.
• Maintain accurate records for invoicing, auditing and compliance.
• Communicate with the yard to manage vehicle movements safely.
• Complete general administration, reporting and data entry.
