Job summary

Veolia Brent is seeking an Operative to manage weighbridge operations and paperwork for driver arrivals, ensuring PPE compliance and accurate ticketing. The role supports loading duties and reports any contamination or safety concerns as part of daily routines.

The successful candidate will contribute to efficient traffic flow, handling documents with precision and maintaining organized records, while collaborating with drivers and the wider team in a busy site environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• Familiar with compliance and paperwork for logistics.
• Strong communication skills when dealing with drivers.

Responsibilities

• Weighbridge cover/ booking in and out of vehicles
• Ensuring all paperwork is compliant and drivers have correct PPE upon weighing in
• Filling of tickets
• Reporting contamination of loads
• Assist in loading bulkers and pushing waste piles up
• Reporting safety concerns/ near misses
• Traffic Management
• Organization skills
