Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support Chefs and keep the care home kitchen clean and efficient. You’ll assist with food preparation, follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines, and help cater for events such as summer fayres.

We value teamwork, clear communication and a commitment to high-quality service at every meal. Regular training, a supportive induction, and opportunities for NVQ progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork required.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training and development.

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.
• Perform general kitchen tasks as directed by the Chefs.
