Job summary

Runwood Homes Limited is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in a care home in Watford. You will help Chefs with daily kitchen tasks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly while adhering to policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training to enhance skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and perform general kitchen tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist Chefs with daily kitchen activities and support meal preparation.
• Follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines and company policies.
• Help with catering for special events at the home (e.g., summer fayres).
