Job summary

Wolverhampton Warehouse Operative role with a Counterbalance FLT licence is available in Wolverhampton. The position is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity offering a pay rate of £15.25 per hour and a 36-hour week, Fri–Sun, 06:00–18:00.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, palletising and banding finished products for dispatch, with forklift duties about 10% of the role. The environment is fast-paced and shop-floor focused.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• Previous warehouse experience in manufacturing, logistics or distribution.
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles/trailers.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding duties.

Responsibilities

• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Labeling products accurately and efficiently.
• Palletising goods and preparing orders for shipment.
• Banding and securing pallets to company standards.
• Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck when required (approximately 10%).
• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities.
• Conducting general warehouse housekeeping duties.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
• Manual handling and lifting as required.
