Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy day shift and support core warehouse operations.

You will perform picking, loading, stacking, and stock checks in a fast-paced environment while upholding health and safety standards. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £29,718 per year and opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
• Ability to carry out heavy manual handling safely.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and order processing.
• A reliable, proactive attitude and good teamwork skills.
• Awareness of workplace Health & Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Picking goods accurately using pick lists, ensuring correct product codes/volumes are picked from the right locations.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of goods.
• Transporting goods using a low-level trolley where required.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring goods are secured and transported according to company guidelines.
• Putting stock away into correct warehouse locations to maintain an organised and efficient storage system.
• Carrying out stock checks and audits, reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
• Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, keeping work areas tidy and following warehouse procedures.
• Occasional driving duties, which could include operating a van or forklift truck if licensed.

What you’ll be doing:
