Vets Now is seeking a Weekend Veterinary Receptionist to join our Glasgow hospital team. The role involves serving as the first point of contact for clients in emergency situations, handling calls, greeting visitors, booking appointments and processing payments.

You will support clinic administration, keep staff informed of patient progress, and provide friendly, empathetic client support while liaising with veterinary professionals. Weekend shifts are required with a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort with cash handling and payments.
• Strong communication and empathy in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for clients during emergencies, greeting clients, answering calls, booking appointments and handling payments.
• Perform clinic administration duties to ensure smooth operations and relay updates to staff.
• Provide friendly, reassuring client support and act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.
