Job summary

Vets Now Bridgwater is seeking a Weekend Veterinary Receptionist to be the friendly first contact for emergency clients. You will greet clients, answer calls, take payments and support the clinical team during busy shifts.

Working weekends: Saturday 12:00–20:00 and Sunday 09:00–21:00, with a fair share of bank holidays. Benefits include seven weeks pro rata annual leave, birthday day off, Simply Health health plan, CPD allowance, staff discounts and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Be the face of Emergency and Critical Care services: receptionists are the first point of contact during emergencies, handling calls, greeting clients, and managing financial transactions.
• Provide updates to the veterinary team about patients enroute to the clinic or clients in need of assistance.
• Handle administrative duties accurately.
