Job summary
Malabar Resources Limited's Maxwell Underground Mine located near Muswellbrook, NSW, is seeking a Weekend Undermanager to provide on-shift leadership for development and longwall operations. You will drive safety commitment, implement the Safety Management System, and deliver the production plan on shift, reporting to the Operations Manager.
The role requires NSW Undermanager Certificate of Competency and Practising Certificate, plus proven leadership in high-productivity underground
Qualifications
- NSW Undermanager Certificate of Competency and Practising Certificate.
- Experience in shotfiring activities preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leadership roles.
- Proven ability in high productivity roadway development and longwall operations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide visible safety leadership to achieve zero harm.
- Lead shift operations to meet production and maintenance targets.
- Ensure compliance with Safety Management System and WHS legislation.
- Drive underground standards for a world-class longwall operation.
