Qualifications

• Degree in mining or relevant engineering discipline.
• Several years' experience in heavy industry with mining operations.
• Proven supervisory experience and a track record of improving safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health and welfare of all personnel on shift.
• Deliver the operational plan and coordinate resources.
• Lead and manage Overseers; drive safety culture and compliance.
• Make real-time decisions to maintain safe, efficient production.
• Prepare shift reports and maintain effective handovers between shifts.
• Communicate priorities and risks across teams; escalate significant issues.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-effective delivery of production.
• Use data to guide decisions and ensure compliance with plans and statutory docs.
