Specsavers in Shirley, Southampton is seeking a proactive Trainee Optical Assistant who loves helping customers and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. You’ll join a team dedicated to excellent service and growth, with comprehensive training and clear development paths.

You don’t need optics experience; you’ll learn to welcome customers, take eye test bookings, assist with frame fitting, and provide style advice while building confidence in using IT systems.

As a Trainee Optical Assistant in our Shirley store you'll be part of a store that exemplify superb teamworking and customer excellence.

You don’t need to have previous Optics experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.
