Job summary

18 Week Support Limited in West Midlands is seeking a Theatre HCA for weekend sessions to support an NHS Trust's urology service. If you have theatre experience in surgical settings, this role offers flexible additional shifts and a patient-focused environment.

You will assist in theatre preparation, support procedures, and help maintain safety and care standards. The role requires current practice as a Theatre HCA, NHS experience, and strong communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Currently practising, or has practised, as a Theatre HCA within a surgical setting for a minimum of 6 months within the last 12 months.
• Proven experience working in the NHS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary theatre team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and smooth running of theatre and clinical areas.
• Support the theatre team during Urology procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
• Prepare equipment, instruments, and consumables for procedures.
• Take and record patient observations accurately where required.
