Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company is seeking a weekend team member for our Ripon store. The role includes restocking, merchandising and customer service, with cash handling and training for the Epos till system. The position is 14 hours on weekends only, suitable for students.

We aim to deliver high-quality customer service and drive growth through sales. Responsibilities include maintaining store standards, assisting deliveries, and keeping up-to-date product knowledge to describe features and benefits

Qualifications

• Customer service focus is essential.
• Experience in merchandising and maintaining store standards is desirable.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and comply with till procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 38 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We have an opening for a weekend team member in our Ripon store.

The role will include but is not exhaustive, restocking, merchandising and customer service, cash handling.

The position offered is: 14 hours Weekends Only (may suit college students)

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation

Responsibilities:
