Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company in Bridlington is recruiting 3 Sales Assistants for a part-time role. 16 hours across 4 days, including weekends on a rota. You will welcome customers, identify their needs, describe product features, and process sales at the till with training provided.

Maintain a tidy store, assist with deliveries, and keep product information up to date. The role emphasizes high standard customer service and teamwork in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to work in a team and on a rota.

• Process sales using the EPOS till system (training provided).

Job description

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 38 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional 3 recruits to the sales assistant team in our Bridlington store.

The positions offered are: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

• 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
• 12.5% Discount at YTC Stores after a successful 6 week induction period
