Job summary

Hawksmoor in London is seeking a friendly Part-time Reservationist for weekend shifts. You’ll welcome guests, manage reservations and waiting lists, and coordinate seating to ensure smooth service.

This role is not desk-based; you’ll be on the floor supporting the team, greeting guests and handling enquiries with care.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or customer-facing experience is helpful but not essential.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Reliable team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and confidently on arrival
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists during service
• Seat guests and manage the flow of the restaurant to support smooth service
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during busy periods
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and the kitchen
• Support the floor team by helping set and reset tables and assist service when needed
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email with care and professionalism
