Job summary

FAT Karting League is seeking a competent Technical Remote Support to assist during karting events from a remote location. You will diagnose reliability, hardware, and software issues, monitor event status, and support teams across UK and US events.

The role requires independent work from home with reliable internet, strong IT and data analysis skills, and the ability to guide staff during busy periods. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and resolve karting hardware, software, and electrical issues.
• Capable of running battery health reports and checklists remotely.
• Strong IT skills and data analysis to monitor event systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve kart reliability issues.
• Diagnose hardware issues affecting event equipment.
• Diagnose software issues.
• Guide team through late customer arrivals process.
• Respond to regulatory queries.
• Ensure issue tickets are updated.
• Assist customers via the Experience Lead in accessing platforms.
• Complete remote support processes like battery health reports and checklists.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior staff or 3rd party support.
• Manage event operations and guide teams to complete procedures.
• Record and monitor issues and resolutions for improvement.
