Job summary

Larkhall Circuit International in Scotland is seeking a part-time kart mechanic to join our rental fleet team. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure karts are safe and ready for customers.

Ideal candidates have mechanical experience, enjoy motorsport, and can work independently or with a team. Driving licence preferred; hours and pattern to be agreed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a qualified mechanic, preferably with rental or race karts.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, brakes, and chassis.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Part-time schedule to be agreed with the candidate.
• A valid driving licence preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Kart Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorsports and a strong background in kart or vehicle mechanics. You will be responsible for ensuring our rental kart fleet is in optimal working condition, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance according to a service plan on karts.
• Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of repairs and maintenance performed on each kart.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with rental or race karts. Similar relevant experience considered.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, brakes and all chassis components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• The role is part-time, working pattern and hours to be agreed with the candidate.
• A valid driving licence is preferred.
