Job summary

Pertemps, supporting Royal Mail, is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Pontypridd for a temporary role starting towards the end of October. The role pays £13.69 per hour, with 30–40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday and weekend availability, and shifts from 8am to 8pm.

Responsibilities include sorting and loading deliveries, using a handheld device for signatures and navigation, and delivering letters and parcels by foot or vehicle.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
