Job summary

Pertemps in Brighton is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail on a temporary basis. You will sort and load deliveries, then complete rounds by foot or vehicle, including weekends. A handheld device will be used for signatures and navigation.

Candidates should be customer-focused, physically able to lift 20kg, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Start date is late October with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max; clean licence preferred).
• Customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle.
• Lift mail bags and parcels up to 20kg.
• Work a shift pattern including weekends.
