Job summary

B&M is seeking a Team Manager for the Bedford Distribution Centre. This is a full-time, permanent role leading a team in a fast-paced warehouse, with a weekend nights shift and hands-on responsibility reporting to the Shift Manager.

You will drive KPI delivery, maintain health and safety standards, and provide development support through reviews and training, while building strong colleague relationships in a busy retail logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments is essential.
• Ability to build positive, professional relationships with colleagues.
• Proven track record of achieving KPIs.
• Strong communication, organisation and planning skills.
• Can-do attitude; no task is too big or too small.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support your team to deliver high service levels.
• Manage your section in terms of KPI performance.
• Maintain high standards across the Distribution Centre, especially Health & Safety.
• Conduct development reviews and provide guidance to colleagues.
• Plan and manage staff training, including interviews and investigations.
