Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an MQ Technician to join the Quality Control team, supporting W&C operations on weekends.

The role involves performing mechanical, electrical, and fibre optic tests, raising non-conformances, calibrating QC equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has at least two years of manufacturing/quality control experience, strong attention to detail, good numeracy, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in manufacturing/Quality Control, preferably in a laboratory.
• High attention to detail with numeracy and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong PC skills with aptitude to learn new systems and laboratory equipment.
• Organised with motivation and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and customer-facing skills.
• Demonstrates TE Values and Ethical Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical and fibre optic testing on wire and cable products following SOPs.
• Carry out Routine, PQ and other QC related testing.
• Raise non-conformances and identify defects; resolve minor quality issues.
• Calibrate designated QC equipment before use without supervision.
• Manage workload and prioritise based on production requirements.
• Provide on-site quality training and participate in handovers and weekly meetings.
• Support deviations, concessions and 8D problem solving with timely communication.
• Assist with scrap reduction initiatives and TE Operating Advantage activities.
