Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a MQ Technician to join the Quality Control team for weekend coverage at our Swindon site. You will conduct mechanical, electrical and fibre optic testing on wire and cable products, raise non-conformances, calibrate QC equipment and support QA audits and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality control, ideally in a lab environment.
• High attention to detail with strong numeracy and communication skills.
• Strong PC skills and aptitude to learn new systems and laboratory equipment.
• Organised with motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and fibre optic testing on wire and cable products per SOPs.
• Perform routine, PQ and other QC testing and support customer release.
• Raise non-conformances and resolve minor quality issues as needed.
• Calibrate designated QC equipment before use without supervision.
• Provide data and reports; participate in audits and weekly meetings.
