Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an Inspection/Quality Assurance professional to perform material and product inspections and document results. The role supports production by maintaining inspection plans, procedures, and calibrated equipment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, ensure KPI targets are met, and uphold health and safety standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings (BS308) required.
• Experience using mechanical and electrical measuring equipment preferred.
• Basic technical English and good communication skills are essential.
• GCSE level education required; a mechanical engineering qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect purchased parts, materials, sub-assemblies or finished products.
• Document inspection results with traceable records in the database.
• Maintain control of test records and documents.
• Monitor calibration of inspection equipment and tools.
• Assist in creating inspection plans, test procedures and SOPs.
• Initiate vendor non-conformance reports as needed.
• Collaborate with team to address inspection issues and questions.
• Achieve KPI targets and support health and safety regulations.
