Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Swindon is seeking an experienced MQ Engineer to strengthen quality assurance across the product development lifecycle. You will lead RC investigations, implement CAPA in response to customer complaints and field returns, and support supplier quality activities.

You will analyse data, drive process improvements, and champion VOC/ECE initiatives across operations, with close collaboration to engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading 8D investigations and CAPA
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or IATF 16949 quality systems
• Experience in NPI, PPAP, and APQP processes
• Experience in audits (process, product, quality system) and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Act as lead for NOE and high-impact quality issues, driving timely resolution
• Lead 8D investigations including root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness
• Coordinate FAI, capability studies, and related reporting
• Develop and implement quality procedures, SOPs, and standard controls
• Collaborate with Engineering/Operations to improve process capability and reduce scrap
• Support supplier quality and audit activities, including CAPA closure
