Job summary

Corin Group, based in Cirencester, is recruiting a Manufacturing Shift Manager to lead a weekend production team and deliver safe, efficient and high‑quality results. After training, you’ll work Friday to Sunday with an early, late, day or night pattern.

Role responsibilities include overseeing operations, resource planning, people development and continual improvement while sustaining a positive, collaborative culture across engineering, quality and planning teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a strong people manager in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to manage 15–25 operatives with coaching and delegation.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a manufacturing team to meet production targets safely and with high quality.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, resource planning and performance.
• Drive training, development and continuous improvement activities.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, planning and supply chain teams.
