Job summary

The Priory Care Home in Shirley, part of Bupa, is hiring a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator for weekend shifts. You will run morning and afternoon activity sessions, tailor activities to residents, and manage the home’s activity planner within a set budget.

You’ll support residents, organise birthday celebrations and liaise with local performers and groups to bring engaging experiences. There’s a strong emphasis on caring, community spirit, and enabling residents to live their best lives.

Qualifications

• Experience running group activities for residents.
• Ability to manage budgets and keep paperwork organized.
• Interest in caring for others and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and/or afternoon activity sessions.
• Tailor activities to residents and manage a activities budget.
• Produce and update an activity planner for the home.
• Support residents and organise birthday celebrations.
• Coordinate activities with external performers and local groups.
• Assist with meal duties when needed and support social media channels.
