Job summary

Buckinghamshire Libraries are seeking a Library Resources Assistant (weekend) to join a friendly team at Princes Risborough Library in the Aylesbury Area. The role is part-time (3 hours per week, 10am-1pm) with location flexibility across Buckinghamshire to cover relief work as needed.

You will deliver customer-focused library services and help maintain stock and displays. The post is fixed to a specific site most of the time, with occasional travel to other libraries for relief coverage.

Responsibilities

• Directly deliver library services to customers and resolve enquiries relating to library loans, digital services, computer use, and signposting to council services.
• Support shelving, stock management, and book displays to maintain library collections.
