Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking a weekend-based part-time support worker in Newbury, Berkshire. The role involves assisting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and engage in activities such as walks, cafes, and hobbies. Shifts start as early as 6:30am and can run until 10pm, with at least one sleep-in each weekend.

Qualifications

• Opportunities to complete an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Enhanced DBS check is required
• Training provided: Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with learning disabilities to promote independence and social connections.
• Work part time across Saturdays and/or Sundays at a supported living home in Newbury.
• Possibly start as early as 6.30am and finish up to 10pm; sleep-in shifts on weekends may be required.
