Job summary

Dimensions is recruiting a confident and caring Support Worker to join our Reading team (RG2). You will support a gentleman in his 40s with learning disabilities in a lone-working, highly rewarding role, providing personal care, meal preparation, and meaningful activities on a one-to-one basis.

The position is around 20 hours per week with some weekend shifts. Sleep-ins are paid at £50 each. Training is provided and DBS checks are supported as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and daily living routines.
• Meal preparation and healthy eating support.
• Medication administration.
• Occasional wheelchair support for longer outings.
• Planning and enjoying activities that make him happy.
