Job summary

Weekend Chef Bristol at a hostel in Bristol is seeking an experienced cook to prepare home-cooked meals from scratch for up to 22 residents daily. The role involves working weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 12pm–6pm) and taking on kitchen porter duties.

You'll work independently, carry out general kitchen responsibilities, and may secure a permanent position after the initial 8–12 week temporary contract. DBS checks are required initially; enhanced DBS if permanent.

Qualifications

• Previous chef/cooking experience.
• Happy to work alone.
• Comfortable preparing home-cooked meals from scratch.
• Willing to carry out KP duties.
• Reliable and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare home-cooked meals from scratch for up to 22 residents per day.
• Work independently on weekends (Sat & Sun, 12pm–6pm).
