Job summary

Contract Options is seeking a Weekend Chef for a hostel in Bristol. The role is Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm–6pm, with duties including preparing home-cooked meals from scratch and KP tasks. Up to 22 meals daily, paid weekly with holiday pay, and a temporary contract of 8–12 weeks with potential to become permanent.

You’ll work independently in a small kitchen with good public transport access.

Weekend Chef Bristol

We are looking for a Weekend Chef to join our team at a hostel in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing home-cooked meals, mainly from scratch, for up to 22 residents per day. Residents place their food orders in the morning.

You will be working independently, so you must be confident working on your own. The role also includes kitchen porter (KP) duties and general kitchen responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Saturday & Sunday, 12pm6pm
• £15.00 per hour
• Up to 22 meals per day
• 8-weeks to 12 weeks temporary contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent
• Paid weekly, plus holiday pay
• Basic DBS required initially; Enhanced DBS will be applied for if the role becomes permanent
• Good access to public transport
