Job summary

University of Sussex's SussexSport is seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to work on a rota basis during weekends at our busy reception in the Sport Centre.

Hours are weekends 9-6pm, with a 1 hour lunch; friendly environment, training on the till system (SCUBA) and cashing up; experience with computers is advantageous. The division emphasises staff development and sustainability with Investors in People accreditation.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, a friendly outgoing personality and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
• Prior computer experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take bookings and memberships, operate the computerised till system, answer telephone enquiries and cash up.
• Provide information and assistance to both university users and the local community.
