Job summary

apetito is the UK’s leading food supplier to health and social care sectors. This role is 36 hours per week Fri-Sun 6am-6pm, within our Quality & Compliance team, ensuring food safety, quality standards and HACCP compliance across ingredients, production and distribution.

You will audit processes, verify QA records, identify non-conformances, drive corrective actions with the QA Manager, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Good spoken and written English
• Experience in food manufacturing
• Auditing experience in Food Safety & Quality
• Experience working with KPIs and tight deadlines
• Experience with quality management systems

Responsibilities

• Audit QA processes and HACCP compliance; verify traceability and records
• Identify non-conformances and report to stakeholders; drive corrective actions
• Investigate customer complaints; determine root cause and actions
• Coordinate testing and pest control; maintain technical trackers
• Brief new starters on site food safety policies and procedures
