Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a self-motivated Quality Auditor to ensure compliance with current legislation and all Company procedures. The role requires an experienced Internal Auditor with food manufacturing audit background and HACCP knowledge.

You will handle non-conformities, customer complaints, and support new product trials while rotating shifts ensure coverage across the department. Based in the United Kingdom, the position offers an ongoing role with competitive pay and benefits,

Qualifications

• Experienced Internal Auditor in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience running internal, customer and GMP audits.
• Knowledge of HACCP level 2/3.
• Must be flexible due to rotating shifts.
• Must live locally or drive due to the remote location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that food safety and quality objectives are always met.
• Review out of specification results and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate customer complaints.
• Assist with new product development, sample preparation, production trials, DAF plant monitoring and taste panel as required.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by Head of Technical to ensure smooth department and company operations.

The Best Connection are currently looking for a self-motivated Quality Auditor to ensure compliance with current legislation and all Company procedures.

To ensure success as a Quality Auditor, you should possess in-depth knowledge of product standards and extensive experience as a Quality Auditor in a similar industry.

Salary: Up to £35,000 based on experience.

Hours: Rotating shift, 1 Month early - 1 Month late.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that food safety and quality objectives are always met.
• Review out of specification results and implementing corrective actions
• Investigating customer complaints
• Assist with new product development, sample preparation, production trials, DAF plant monitoring and taste panel as required
• Any other reasonable work that is requested by the Head of Technical to ensure the smooth running of the department and the Company.

What we are looking for:

• An experienced Internal Auditor with experience working in a food manufacturing environment
• Experience running internal, customer and GMP audits
• Exposure to high risk/high care food production processes is advantageous
• Candidates should possess Knowledge of HACCP level 2/3
• Candidates MUST be flexible due to the requirement for rotating shifts.
• Candidates MUST live locally or drive due to the remote location
