Job summary

apetito is hiring a Quality and Food Safety Auditor Supervisor to lead the PM shift team and the night shift team in auditing ingredients, processes and products. You’ll drive compliance with BRC/HACCP, investigate issues and implement CAPAs, while maintaining documentation and supporting traceability.

The role emphasises team leadership, a strong compliance ethos and collaboration with production to continuously improve quality. Eligible for a competitive package in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing/quality environment.
• Experience supervising a team, with motivation and performance monitoring to KPIs.
• SAP experience and strong IT skills are required.
• Attention to detail and a compliance-driven mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety, quality and compliance standards across site.
• Carry out audits and inspections per BRC and HACCP requirements.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, identifying root causes.
• Manage non-conformances and drive corrective/preventative actions.
• Support traceability exercises and product investigations when required.
• Monitor product quality against specifications.
• Assess risks with raw materials and incoming goods.
• Manage supplier quality concerns and product rejections.
• Support food safety monitoring systems and testing activities.
• Provide training, inductions and coaching to promote safety culture.
• Collaborate with production and technical teams to improve quality.
