Job summary

apetito operates as the UK’s leading provider of meals to health and social care sectors and is headquartered in Wiltshire. The Quality & Food Safety Auditor Supervisor leads the PM and night shift teams, auditing ingredients, processes and products to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires supervising on-site teams, driving corrective actions, and maintaining documentation while working a fixed PM shift from 1.45pm to 9.45pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing/quality environment.
• Experience supervising a team with motivation, monitoring performance and KPIs.
• SAP experience and strong IT skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety, quality and compliance standards across site.
• Carry out audits and inspections per BRC/HACCP requirements.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Manage non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Support traceability exercises and product investigations as needed.
• Coordinate testing and maintain quality documentation.
• Promote food safety culture through training and coaching.
• Collaborate with production and technical teams to improve quality.
