Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Weekend Engineer to join a fast-paced, highly automated factory near Trentham. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance on PLC-controlled production lines, with a Friday–Sunday night shift 7pm–7am.

You will perform fault finding, planned preventive maintenance and ensure maximum uptime, with a base salary of £51,000 plus overtime (£1,000-£2,000) and a pension.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance in a fast paced factory.
• Experience working on PLC-controlled production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding on automated production machinery.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventive maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Weekend Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Be able to modify on PLC programmes as a minimum
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Weekend Maintenance Engineer.

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC's, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
