Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Assistant in Stafford for a state-of-the-art, fully automated, fast-paced factory. You will assist with electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery to maximise uptime.

The role offers development toward a maintenance engineer path, a 4-on 4-off shift pattern (days and nights), and a benefits package including pension and company gym access.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on fully automated production machinery.
• Fault-finding to maximise uptime and efficiency.
• Assist with planned preventative maintenance and learn toward a maintenance engineer role.

Maintenance Assistant Salary: £40,000 + Overtime (£1,000-£2,000 on top) + Pension

Location: Stafford

Shifts: 4on 4off days and nights (2days 2nights 4 off)

You will be responsible for assisting with carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

The aim of the role is to learn as much as you can as quickly as you can from the engineers you are assisting, once you are fully trained and confident the aim is for you to move into a maintenance engineer role.
