Job summary

A care assistant role supporting elderly residents with varying needs, including dementia and mobility challenges. You will assist with daily living activities and personal care, working alongside established care teams to provide compassionate support.

The position involves weekend shifts with early and late hours, aligned with ongoing hours and DBS/training requirements. Full training and DBS help are available through QS Care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in Health and Social Care
• Training in safeguarding, infection control, and moving & handling preferred
• DBS check within 12 months or on update service if available

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal care
• Support mobility, nutrition, and daily hygiene as needed
• Work with care teams to ensure safe, compassionate care for dementia and other conditions
